FLORENCE is the city of the renaissance and Italian art and thanks to its artistic heritage is one of the most visited in the
world.
David is a famous sculpture, made of marble by Michelangelo Buonarroti, dating between 1501 and the beginning of 1504 and now housed in the Galleria dell'Accademia in Florence. Widely regarded as a masterpiece of world sculpture is one of the emblems of the Renaissance, as well as the symbol of Florence and Italy abroad in general.
